Stonehedge - UK

Stonehenge shows that humans once chose their materials carefully and brought them from far away to build something meant to endure. God’s Finger in Namibia shows the opposite: a natural form that stood only as long as its material allowed. If a new monument is imagined there, it cannot repeat the same fragile stone. It must use treated, durable material and contemporary technology to recreate the presence, not the weakness. This is where weight, balance, and mass become human decisions, not natural accidents.
